WOMEN AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT

Women are key drivers of economic growth, the organization aims at increasing economic opportunities for women and women entrepreneurs by supporting them in starting, strengthening and expanding their enterprises and enhance competitiveness, growth and progress of the nation

Promoting Women’s Entrepreneurship development is one of the most important driving forces behind reducing poverty and aiding economic growth.

In every part of the world, women are paid less for their work and see fewer benefits of their labour.

Discrimination and extra household responsibilities reduce their access to decent work, capital and time needed to improve their businesses, relative to men.

The organization develops a practical and sustainable gender-based programme that enhances establishments, strengthening and expansion of women entrepreneurs in all settings from the village, town to city set-ups.

WOMEN AND ENVIRONMENTAL JUSTICE

The organization therefore develops gender-based environmental conservation with climate change development programmes targeting women from the rural, town and city set-ups based on the specific relevant conservation measures.

Women are the least likely group to be consulted about environmental planning, especially with regard to global business interests.

Women in most of the world are responsible for basic family needs that depend on the natural environment and provide approximately 80 percent of the world’s food supply.

The organization therefore develops gender-based environmental conservation with climate change development programmes.

Environmental justice is realized by the fair and equitable distribution of environmental burdens across the entire population, as well as ensuring equitable access to and involvement in the mechanisms used to address environmental issues.

WOMEN AND EXTRACTIVE INDUSTRIES

Extractive Industries which includes Gas, Oil and Mining impacts can be positive and negative, spanning economic, social, and environmental issues.

Water sources may become polluted, but new roads may be built and communities may become electrified. Markets may boom, but prices may rise steeply.

Oil, gas, and mining projects may create jobs, but may also consume farming land for their use, changing livelihoods and limiting access to water, food, and firewood.

The organization therefore develops gender-based environmental conservation with climate change development programmes.

The Purple Planet envisages developing gender-based programmes dealing with solving negative impacts, gender inequality in Extractive Industries for women benefit.

WOMEN AND SOCIO-CULTURAL DEVELOPMENT

The organization is working around these areas since they directly affect women and impedes their equitable engagement into developmental agenda occasional causing physical, emotional, psychological harm to women with spontaneous deaths.

Predominantly, women are highly affected by multiple social and cultural believes that surrounds them which impedes and affects women development either in health, education or social well being.

These are clearly seen in:-

  • Gender-based Violation
  • Primary Health Care
  • Women rights violation
  • Disasters and natural calamities.
  • Cross-cutting issues like HIV/AIDS, Malaria, Tuberculosis, drugs and drugs abuse.

The organization therefore develops gender-based environmental conservation with climate change development programmes.
